Se amate i motori a stelle e strisce probabilmente conoscete la Ford Mustang RTR o anche l'F-150 sempre customizzato dall'azienda di tuning. RTR Veichles ora sta allungando la sua ombra anche sui pick-up di medie dimensioni (per gli standard USA) con il Ford Ranger RTR 2020, recentemente presentato al SEMA Show del 2019 che enfatizza i ritocchi estetici con piccoli miglioramenti delle prestazioni.
Ranger, il più amato dai tuner
Frontale a LED
Immediatamente evidente è la griglia LED con marchio RTR che sostituisce l'unità di serie. I parafanghi anteriore e posteriore aggiungono un po' più di "carreggiata" al pick-up, con i passaruota anteriori che incorporano anche prese d'aria funzionali per il motore a quattro cilindri turbo da 2,3 litri di serie.
Interni in pelle
Un pacchetto grafico RTR decora la parte posteriore del truck che si muove su ruote RTR da 17 pollici con pneumatici fuoristrada. Frutto del tuining anche le prese d'aria, sempre con marchio RTR, e la grambilatura anteriore che integra lo skid plate oltre a un badge da cruscotto che indica la serie speciale. Completano la customizzazione "estetica" i sedili in pelle.
Sospensioni Fox
Per quanto riguarda la meccanica, RTR sostituisce le sospensioni di serie del Ranger con delle Fox 2.0 a molle. È installato, inoltre, un sistema di scarico Ford Performance, sebbene RTR non indichi alcun aumento di potenza specifico.

Da quando è tornato sul mercato degli Stati Uniti, Ford Ranger è diventato un veicolo sempre più ricercato dai tuner. Praticamente ogni Ranger personalizzato che abbiamo incontrato offre, almeno sospensioni migliorate e con un Ford Ranger Raptor disponibile fuori dagli USA sospettiamo che Ford stia osservando molto attentamente come vanno in termini di vendite queste versioni "pompate".

SEMA - LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, NOV 5, 2019 — With the Ford Mustang RTR and F-150 RTR having solidified their place in the market, RTR Vehicles debuts the new 2020 Ford Ranger RTR, the second pickup truck offering and third Ford vehicle model available for purchase today on rtrvehicles.com and at select Ford dealers globally. Entering the mid-size truck market for the first time, the Ranger RTR represents all of RTR Vehicles’ learnings from the F-150 RTR into a smaller, more nimble, and capable off-road package. The Ranger RTR is immediately recognized by its signature RTR grille with LED lighting, enhanced fender flares—the fronts, which include functional vents acting as intake induction points2—and RTR graphics package. Improving on the already capable off-road chops, the Ranger RTR includes a Fox 2.0 suspension kit, Nitto Ridge Grappler tires and 17-inch RTR Tech 6 off-road wheels.3 A Ford Performance cat-back exhaust4 rounds out the performance features of the Ranger RTR.
